The reigning Ms. America ® 2009-10, Bridget Cleary is from Boston, Massachusetts. A motivational speaker, she teaches goal setting using the "SMART" method for Arnold Worldwide, the 6th largest advertising agency in the world. On a "dare" Bridget was challenged to prove the validity of her method and chose a goal that has always been a dream of hers. She entered into the Ms. America® pageant without any prior pageant experience and walked away with the crown! Come learn the "SMART" method to reach your goals at this event as well as "How to Stay Positive in Economic Times."

Susan Jeske, former Ms America®, will give her personal story and presentation exposing the toxic truth about “Are your skin care and personal care products safe? The ugly side of the beauty industry and how to avoid it.”

Several years ago severe health issues led her to a holistic doctor who said, “What you are using on your skin contains synthetic and toxic chemicals and is making you sick. Stop using your skin care and use products that are truly “natural” and “organic.”

She was surprised that by taking his simple advice the health issues went away in just two weeks. It was the first time it occurred to her that what she put on her skin could impact her health.
Realizing this she quit her cosmetic job with an executive income and started on a journey of studying cosmetics and skin care. What she found disturbed her. Lead in lipstick? Mercury in mascara? Carcinogens in baby shampoo?
Why are toxic chemicals in our beauty products? Why is there no regulation in the United States on cosmetics and personal care items? How could cosmetic companies put labels of “natural” and “organic” on products that contain toxic chemicals? Jeske tells the shocking truth and what can be done to make safer choices.

Susan Jeske is a professional image, beauty and makeup consultant and has given head-to-toe image advice to corporate executives, political and community leaders for over 20 years. She has written for newspapers and magazines as a columnist and appeared on radio and television worldwide.
